The team first worked closely with the client to define the scope and logic for each photographer’s unique incentive structure. With Aryeo capturing orders and Salesforce managing projects, SeedMetrics built seamless data integrations to ingest every project automatically. A dynamic compensation engine was developed to calculate each photographer’s pay per project, incorporating base incentives and even adding reimbursements for travel beyond a mileage threshold, using a custom Google Maps API plugin.
Any anomalies, such as reshoots or custom events, were flagged for managerial review. To ensure full transparency, an individual Google Sheet was created for each photographer, logging all projects worked on during the payroll period. The manager could override calculations for any given project, and the photographer could leave comments in the case of extreme outliers. Each of these photographers sheets were linked to a single master spreadsheet, where the manager could review total payroll at a glance and approve incentives. What once required 15+ of manual effort every month was reduced to less than an hour of review time, freeing leadership to focus on business growth rather than administrative tasks.
